How much does a car tracker cost in Ghana?
The total cost is the tracking device plus installation, and with TracGlobal your first year of platform subscription is free — no monthly fees for 12 months. Can I track my car from my phone?
Yes. TracGlobal runs in any phone or computer browser — open the dashboard and see your car's live position on the map, updating in under 3 seconds. You also get alerts for movement, over-speeding, and geofence entry/exit by email, Telegram, or SMS.
Does GPS tracking work everywhere in Ghana?
The trackers use the mobile network (GSM), so they work wherever there is cell coverage — Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale, and along all major routes. If a vehicle passes through a dead zone, the tracker stores its trips and uploads them once coverage returns, so your history stays complete.
Can I stop the engine remotely if my car is stolen?
Yes — with an immobilizer relay fitted during installation, you can cut the engine remotely from the dashboard. The vehicle can't be restarted until you restore it. This is the single most effective anti-theft feature and we recommend it for private cars and motorbikes.
How is the tracker installed?
Our technicians install the device discreetly in your vehicle — typically in under an hour per vehicle — and confirm it is reporting live before handing over. We supply the hardware, fit it, and set up your account so you leave with tracking already working on your phone.
